3D design and modelling

Footrests, brackets and accessories: we design parts in Fusion 360 for a specific scooter, then prototype and test them on the road.

From idea to finished part

A five-step method applied to every part we create.

  1. The requirement

It starts with a real-world need: discomfort, a part that is not available on the market or a track-related constraint.

  2. Measurements

Dimensions, bolt spacing, thicknesses and clearances: we measure the scooter before drawing.

  3. The model

Fully constrained sketches and a parametric model in Fusion 360, ready to adjust in seconds.

  4. The prototype

3D-print an initial version to check the fit on the scooter.

  5. Testing

Fitment, riding and feedback. We make adjustments and reprint until the design is validated.

Why Fusion 360

Fusion 360 enables parametric modelling: every dimension is a variable. Change a width, thickness or bolt spacing and the entire model updates without having to redraw the part.

This lets us iterate quickly, keep a design history for every part and adapt it to another scooter later.

  • Fully constrained sketches based on real measurements
  • Byametric models and design history
  • Technical drawings and views
  • Exports for 3D printing or cutting

Towards a catalogue of our designs

Over time, some of our parts may be offered as finished products or 3D models. We will only sell designs that have been tested on our own scooters.
