Esteban’s first build: an upgraded Angwatt X1 with a customised FT85BD controller.
The project
This project is where REVOLT ENGINE began. Esteban carried out a full preparation on his former Angwatt X1 and replaced the original control electronics with a customised FT85BD controller.
Integrating a new controller means understanding the entire system: power supply, motor phases, sensors, controls and protection circuits. This in-depth work now informs our approach to diagnostics and electronics.
