Custom footrest for the Dualtron Thunder 2
A custom-designed footrest plate to replace the original part, with a race-inspired design and a channel for an LED strip.
The project
The starting point: replace the original Thunder 2 footrest with a part designed for track use and a stronger visual identity.
The part was designed from measurements taken on the scooter, then refined through several iterations: width, height, thickness and mounting-hole positions.
The final design features chamfered edges and a channel along the side for an LED strip. Next step: build a prototype and test it on the scooter.
